    Competitive Courses for engineering

    Category: Education

Before you start studying a new topic, remember what you already know. Make connections between your existing knowledge and the new topic or concept. This will maximise the chance that you’ll leverage existing knowledge on the subject and makes new topics easier to understand. You should aware of simple, basic concepts before knowing the complex ones. New concept delivered in a way that builds upon existing topics/concepts is easier to make sense of and retain. The JEE Main Syllabus for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) features topics from 3 different subjects – physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Several topics that fall under the JEE Main 2021 syllabus are also covered in the NCERT Syllabus for Class 11 & 12. Therefore, a strong understanding of the concepts covered in the NCERT textbooks for class 11 & 12 is of vital importance to candidates hoping to crack the JEE Main & Advanced examinations. Physics is an interesting subject for most JEE aspirants. A good score from this section requires meticulous planning. Concepts like electricity, mechanics, and magnetism constitute around 65% of the marks distribution. All these concepts are of utmost importance. All three sections of chemistry are interlinked. Candidates can start with the Physical Chemistry section before moving on to the other two parts. Practise solving different types of questions like matching type, multiple-choice and assertion reason type questions to boost one’s reasoning skills. Topics covered in Maths are a perfect blend of simple and complex topics. Maths is easy to score if students develop a good understanding of the basic concepts. Concentrate on concept building and enhancing numerical solving skills by practising often.
