Why waste time and all that money for design modifications before going into mass production. One of our client used 3d printing to check the ergonomics of a knee surgery tool before spending money into expensive dies/moulds. Being an injection moulder, he was manufacturing knee surgery tool handle for his customer. Now as per new design requirements, he was asked to insert grooves in the handle to achieve a better grip.
