My cousin asked me one day if I am familiar with engine knock because, he said, his friend suffered engine knock in one of his utility vehicles a few months earlier. I told him I am not totally familiar wih the technical meaning of the term but that I have a working knowledge of it because a friend also had an engine knock on his vehicle once. My cousin said he sympathized with his friend because the vehicle that was knocked down was the only vehicle that his friend used for his hauling business. My cousin said he did not kow what happened; he just heard the clattering and clashing of metals inside the engine, and that was that; the pick-up van's engine stopped working and the vehicle won't move so he had it towed to his garage.
