BSc in Optometry is a three year paramedical course followed by 6months to 1year internship program. BSc Optometry is pursued by students after completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics as compulsory subjects. BSc Optometry is the study of human eyes. It provides extreme knowledge and training about diagnosis, detection and treatment of human eyes. It also helps in gaining information about the manufacturing and production of optical aids like spectacles, contact lens etc.
