VLB Structural Consultants is a leading company that deals in Cold Storage Design in India keeping in mind the ever-evolving needs of the industry. We are committed to providing premium quality cold storage design services. Our cold storage is designed in a way to suit varied needs. They let you have one of the most efficient methods when it comes to handling bulk perishables products. Our cold storage offer storage for perishable commodities at a selected temperature. It maintains a proper balance between initial, operating, maintenance costs. Maintaining an adequate low temperature could be a challenge for you. Also, the humidity in your storeroom may be spoiling a large number of products. The cold storage keeps the humidity as high as 85-90 percent for many perishables to secure the quality of the products. The features and specifications of cold storage are different depending upon the nature of the product. For instance, ice cream is stored at - 25 ºC while milk is stored at 3-4 ºC. Similarly, many fruits and vegetables are also stored in cold storage to enhance the life of the products. The best part is we have the capability to consult different types of cold storage. ● Cheese cold storage ● Milk cold storage ● Butter cold storage ● Vegetable cold storage etc. ● Fruit cold storage In order to reduce the external incoming heat, we make sure cold walls, floors of our stores are laid flat and have a thickness of insulating material. It can maintain any controlled interior temperature of just -25°C depending on requirements to keep rotting, sprouting, damage from insects, and other forms of degradation. While cold storage warehouses are intended for different purposes, they contain the same key performance and purpose to offer cold supply chain management. In our Cold Storage Design in India, we incorporate the latest design methods and equipment to maintain the adequate demands of a cold chain. With our storage design, you will be able to ensure proper post-harvest cooling that will help: ● Reduce internal water loss and wilting ● Reduce respiratory activity ● Lower degradation by enzymes ● Growth of decay-producing microorganisms Note that products are classified into different categories based on their thermal incompatibility. ● Most perishable products that are sensitive to cold (0-4°C) are grape, apple, onion, carrot ● Vegetables and fruits that produce moderately sensitive to cold (4-8°C) are mangoes, orange, potato, and tomato (ripened) ● Vegetables and fruits that produce sensitivity to cold (>8°C) are banana, pineapple, pumpkin, and ladyfinger Based on the requirements, we can design cold storage that ranges from bulk cold sores, multi-purpose cold storage, frozen food stores, Mini units, or walk-in cold stores. ● Bulk cold stores: Bulk cold storage is suitable for a single commodity that mostly operates on a seasonal basis i.e. stores chilies, potatoes, apples, etc. ● Small cold stores: We construct small cold storage using advanced pre-cooling facilities. These stores are suitable for fresh fruits and vegetables, mainly for export-oriented items like grapes, etc. ● Multi-purpose cold stores: We can build multi-purpose cold storage to store commodities. This storage has the capacity to operate practically throughout the year. ● Frozen food stores: These cold storage systems are built for processing and freezing facilities for meat, fish, poultry, processed fruits, dairy products, and vegetables. ● Controlled atmosphere (CA) stores: These storage systems are mainly designed for certain vegetables and fruits.
