Shona Townley had to admit that, even though at sixteen and a half she affected profound indifference towards Christmas celebrations, the build up was actually quite enjoyable. It's not cool -or in this case- uncool enough for people not too enjoy these festivities which can sometimes make them more exciting than those who are into it from start...but there are some nice aspects too! For example seeing gaudy decorations pop up all over town centre or market stalls appearing where they aren't expected: maybe on your way home late one evening if you're walking alone through an alleyway just missing traffic lights
