To a certain extent all devices use in-app services and functions that receive and transmit data which drains data. If you manage to use your phone with moderately, your battery life will be saved to a greater extent. eSIM does not add any extra battery drains to your device in this case. Collectively, it can be said that, eSIMs do use up some of your battery life. But remember that eSIMs alone are not a reason to your battery drain.
