When people usually ask me what I do as a game designer, my answer is something like this, “I create a game which provides an enjoyable experience, an interactive journey which a player can live through.” Many people who design and create games for a living can tell you that the production of the game is never as pretty as expected. Impending timelines, delays in production, stress from video games publishers, and countless hours are just some of the several challenges that occur during the development process.
