Giving rise to the smart city project in India

Very well thought of, the smart city project in India is aimed at making 100 cities more intellectual and attractive by making them more efficient, more livable and more sustainable, all three ensuring resource efficiency and socially inclusive growth. The smart city concept aims at encouraging the birth of Information Communication Technology, ICT industry in India to create a network that would enable each of us to communicate and eliminate all unnecessary elements in our environment and work towards achieving a sustainable growth. India smart city project is one of the revolutionary ideas, put forward by our new Prime Minister, Narendra Modi during his race to gain position. The experiment will be first carried out on eight cities, which will then decide the future of the smart city project and the ICT industry in India, soon , after which it will be implemented in other parts of the country.
