Mountain Gorillas live in the most extreme harsh environment with two populations found in protected areas of central eastern Virunga ranges along the chain of the Virunga Volcanoes and the 331 sq.km protected Bwindi impenetrable rainforest national park. Mountain Gorillas can be seen in Bwindi and Mghinga Uganda, in Rwanda and democratic republic of Congo. Uganda, Rwanda and Congo through respective Wildlife conservation bodies, have agreed to habituate some gorilla families (Not all) for Tourism purposes. A Gorilla permit purchased in each or either respective country, being above 15years of age with a ranger guide leads tourists into the jungles spending time with these endangered gentle giants on either Gorilla Trekking or Gorilla Habituation Experience.
