The demand for new innovative tests to cope with patients’ clinical needs increases, goes for hematology laboratories as well. Currently hematology analysers are generally utilized for cell counts and differential leukocyte analysis, however, these analysers are in fact equipped for investigating many other parameters to provide substantial data than what they are intended for. Unfortunately, due to the lack of knowledge and application, they are yet to be employed to their full capacity.
