Helping Children Make Friends

Everyone wants their child to be social. We want them to be content and to develop the relationships and social skills that will benefit them both now and in the future. Occasionally, and for some kids, it's difficult to make friends. Particularly after the COVID-19 epidemic, this is true. Many kids either didn't learn the social skills they need to establish friends—or those abilities were rusty—because of isolation and faraway schools. Here are some suggestions for parents. begin at home: acquiring interpersonal abilities It takes skills that are best developed at home with your family to make and keep friends. Some of them consist of: Empathy. Be sure that everyone in the family behaves kindly and equitably to one another. When we have had a rough day, we might choose to ignore sibling arguments or snap at our partner. Regardless of what we say, our kids watch what we do. interest in other people.
