The computing landscape is shifting rapidly. Artificial intelligence training clusters, high-performance financial modeling, and dense cloud virtualization have pushed rack power requirements from a manageable 5–10 kW per cabinet to 30 kW, 50 kW, or even 100+ kW per rack. When power density scales up so dramatically, traditional electrical sub-distribution infrastructure breaks down under the load. Attempting to feed high-density server rows directly from distant main service panels or relying solely on rack-mounted power strips creates severe bottlenecks: excessive cable clutter, dangerous thermal hotspots, voltage drops, and restricted capacity growth.
