Who is sanjeev khanna, sanjeev khanna is a judge of the supreme court of india. He is a former judge of delhi high court, also a position held by his father dev raj khanna. Khanna was born in delhi in 1960. He studied law at the university of delhi and the indian law institute. He was enrolled as an advocate in the bar council of delhi in the year 1983. Khanna practiced law in delhi for over 20 years. He specialized in taxation, arbitration, commercial law, environmental law, medical negligence law and company law. He represented the delhi government as an additional public prosecutor in criminal law matters. He was also a senior standing counsel for the income tax department of delhi for about seven years. Khanna was elevated as a judge of the supreme court of india on january 18th, 2019. He is in line to become the chief justice of india after the retirement of chief justice dhananjaya y. Chandrachud.
