    Who is sanjeev khanna, sanjeev khanna is a judge of the supreme court of india. He is a former judge of delhi high court, also a position held by his father dev raj khanna. Khanna was born in delhi in 1960. He studied law at the university of delhi and the indian law institute. He was enrolled as an advocate in the bar council of delhi in the year 1983. Khanna practiced law in delhi for over 20 years. He specialized in taxation, arbitration, commercial law, environmental law, medical negligence law and company law. He represented the delhi government as an additional public prosecutor in criminal law matters. He was also a senior standing counsel for the income tax department of delhi for about seven years. In 2004, khanna was appointed as delhi's standing counsel for civil law matters at the delhi high court. He was elevated as an additional judge of the delhi high court on june 24th, 2005 and made permanent on February 20th 2006. Khanna was elevated as a judge of the supreme court of india on january 18th, 2019. He is in line to become the chief justice of india after the retirement of chief justice dhananjaya y. Chandrachud. Khanna is a respected judge with a keen intellect and a deep understanding of the law. He is known for his clarity of thought and his ability to articulate complex legal issues in a simple and concise way. He is also known for his commitment to justice and his dedication to the rule of law. Khanna is a member of the international association of judges and the indian society of international law. He is also a recipient of the padma bhushan, one of india's highest civilian honors. Khanna is married and has two children. He is a keen golfer and enjoys reading.
