Nickel 201 Strips are manufactured from commercially pure wrought nickel with a very low carbon content. Compared to Nickel 200, Nickel 201 contains less carbon, making it more suitable for applications involving temperatures above 315°C (600°F). The lower carbon content reduces the risk of graphite formation during prolonged exposure to high temperatures. This helps maintain the material's mechanical properties and corrosion resistance over time. Nickel 201 Strips are easy to fabricate, weld, and form, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
