Nursery & play schools in rajouri Garden Parents and experts raised concerns over the government-stipulated nursery admission guideline that does not make it compulsory for parents to be present while drawing lots in case two general category candidates score equal points. The nursery admission schedule released by the Directorate of Education (DOE) says that schools should hold the draw of lots “preferably” in the presence of parents. “It should be compulsory for at least one parent to be present during draw of lots. There is always this fear that schools may select certain names during draw of lots. You can’t be sure in this case unless you are present,” said Areej Khan, who is seeking admission for her nephew this year.
