California needs to compete aggressively against other states trying to attract our businesses utilizing headline-making tactics and the bully pulpit of the Governor’s office. We need to address this competition and tackle it head on. Florida Governor Rick Scott is the latest in a long line of governors that have targeted California for their business recruitment efforts, directly contacting California CEOs and leading a trade delegation to Los Angeles to urge shipping companies to move their business to Florida.
