Many people are completely unaware that the windshield of a vehicle does much more than simply keep the cool wind out of the driver’s face while on the road. Windshields are specifically designed to protect, from every-day driving to much more serious and life-threatening collisions. The windshield is also a key player in a vehicle’s supplemental restraint system (SRS) or airbag.
