I came across the Silva method through my martial arts instructor. As one of my requirements to earn my black belt in karate, I needed to attend the Silva Immersion event. Having no knowledge of what the Silva method consisted of but trusting the wisdom of my karate instructor, I attended the 4-day Immersion. My first Silva Immersion was with Ken Coscia in May 2016.
