Widgets are amazing tools that help users to drag and drop elements in the “widgetized regions” of their WordPress website admin panel. By default, WordPress comes with some built-in widgets, giving you the ability to add static or dynamic content to the widget-areas of your theme. In fact, plugins come with their own set of widgets. Perhaps with time, you may need additional functionality that you might not be able to implement using the default widgets. In that case, creating a custom widget can prove a viable solution to you.
