The How Tos – An Easy Guide on Using Your New Tea Infuser

    Category: Food & Drink

A recent survey has revealed that tea is the second most popular beverage in the world today, and because of this, a lot of different flavors of tea has been introduced. But tea flavors aren’t just the ones that got in demand today, products which make teas easier to make and more flavorful have also been introduced to the market. And believe me, they are also very popular among tea lovers. Among these many tea accessory products, the most useful of them is the tea infuser. What is a tea infuser? A tea infuser is a tool or device that allows you to soak or steep tea leaves (full-leaf loose) instead of the usual tea bag, which most of us utilize in making our tea. This tool can hold full-leaf loose tea leaves at once either in a basket or mesh ball, it also keeps tea leaves from floating on your beverage freely. By using a tea infuser, it is easier to take those tea leaves after a while. It is also easier to make premium tasting tea without relying on ready-made teas. With tea infusers, you get to brew your own tea and decide on its flavor. Direction of Using Tea Infuser Always remember that when it comes to steeping full-leaf loose tea, you require 6 ounces of water per one teaspoon of leaves. Make sure to measure properly the tea leaves before placing them on your tea infuser. Place the tea infuser on the teapot or teacup and pour hot boiling water, once it is poured time your steeping accordingly. The time of steeping depends greatly on the kind of leaf used in making tea, check the difference below: White: 2-3 minutes Green: 2-4 minutes Black: 3-5 minutes Oolong and Red or Herb: 5-7 minutes When the steeping is done, remove the tea infuser. Make sure to cool the tea first before sipping it. For more incredible designs of tea infusers, check this website.
