University of Bradford -UK The University of Bradford is the 40th university that was founded in the year 1966 in Britain. It is the first university in Britain to establish Department of Peace Studies in 1973. The university is located in the city of Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. The university is home to over 8,000 students—including more than 1,500 international students and 145,000 alumni across 175 countries. The University believes in a holistic development through outstanding teaching, research, and innovation, along with sustainable, economic, and social development. With an eye to be a sustainable and eco friendlier educational institution, the University of Bradford has come up with their project ‘Ecoversity’ in 2005. Such an initiative by the university will help nurture generations of students who are climate conscious and environment conscious.
