Intermittent fasting is an eating pattern where you cycle between periods of eating and fasting. It does not specify which foods to eat but recommends when to eat. There are several intermittent fasting methods, each of which divides the day or week into eating and fasting window. The premise of intermittent fasting is simple: when our insulin levels fall far enough, as they do during a fasting period, we can burn fat. In simple words, when a person does not consume food, insulin levels fall, and fats begin to burn.
