When parents are searching for the schools then they look for schools that offer academic excellence with extracurricular activities. At the Christian Brothers High School there is stress on academic excellence with encouragement to do well in sporting activities as well. The school was established in the year 1891 and it has over the last one hundred and thirty years established itself as one of the best in the domain of the high schools. There are at present more than one thousand three hundred boys enrolled and receiving education and instructions in many disciplines. High school is when the boys are matured slightly to be serious about their lives then they take the decision as to whether take up vocation or a profession. When choosing a profession or a vocation the boys have to keep their aptitude and interests in mind. The vocations are as respectable as the professions. For the boys to take up profession they have to make sure that they get the requisite training and education in a reputed professional school or a university. There are many professions to choose from in the universities. There are professions of engineering where one requires good background in mathematics and the sciences. It is the engineers who build the nation; while the doctors are the ones who have their fingers on the health of the people. So boys are to be mindful as to what they want to do. Boys in the high schools are made to meet the girls of the neighbouring girls’ schools so that they know how to interact with opposite gender and do not develop complex relating to that. The Christian Brothers High School is among the top high schools Sydney wide.
