Raksha Bandhan, commonly known as Rakhi, is a Hindu holiday that is observed annually on the full moon in the month of Shravan. In 2022, Raksha Bandhan will fall on Thursday, August 11. On this day, sisters wrap rakhi around their brothers' wrists in an effort to keep them safe from harm and to wish them a long life.
