X – Ray Baggage Scanner is one of the most important widely used security system all over the world. It is most commonly used In Government Sectors, Factories, Corporate office, Airport, Bus stand, Malls, Hotels and Temple. In Baggage Scanner, Conveyor belt carries the luggage from one end to other end of the tunnel. Luggage’s which passes through the X-ray machine can find out detailed images of the items inside it. Through density we can identify what object is placed or kept inside the luggage. An x-ray scanner identifies harmful organic, inorganic and metal materials. Different materials absorb rays at different levels. X-ray machines spot dangerous items by looking at the mass density and atomic number of the substances of the materials that pass through it. Nano camera also have been inserted in Baggage machines for more securable purpose. X-ray scanners produce images in orange, blue, black and green. Each color corresponds to a material category—orange means organic material (food, wood and paper), green is for high organic and light metals, and blue is for high dense metals and black for impenetrable. It consists of Power indication (Green in color indicates power supply), Alarm light indication (Yellow in color indicates when threat object is identified), X-ray Indication (Red in color indicates X-ray function). Emergency stop button is presented on both the ends of the X-ray baggage scanner.
