Zoom Whiteboard versus Reactiv SUITE | Vizetto

    Category: Technology

Zoom Whiteboard versus Reactiv SUITE Zoom is a fantastic video conferencing tool that can easily connect many people together in an online meeting, but it has its limitations. The integrated whiteboard is one of them! The Zoom whiteboard has many different problems. Here are some of the major issues that make it practically impossible for me to use it in my meetings: Lots of clicks – It takes clicks upon clicks to do anything! You have to click between erasers, pen, size and shape. It is really disruptive and slows down the discussion Cluttered UI – There are floating toolbars on top of toolbars. You have your PowerPoint and app windows with their interfaces, then you have the Zoom conference call toolbars and add to this more clutter with the whiteboard controls You quickly run out of screen space Ink doesn’t follow the document – this is a big one! When you flip the page or move the document, the ink doesn’t move with the document. That means that the ink doesn’t make sense and the context is lost very quickly. What if you need to ink two different pages and need to flip back and forth? The biggest problem is the user experience. It is frustrating to use in a real meeting of any substance. You must erase all the ink as you progress through your presentation; the zoom whiteboard is just an overlay on your desktop. It has no idea what you are doing and how you are moving your documents. Which means that the ink loses its relevance really quickly and your screen becomes a hot mess! Better alternatives to Zoom Whiteboard Reactiv SUITE was designed to solve all these problems. It natively presents all of your files, media and content on a unique canvas. All your documents are clean – as if they were printed onto a sheet of paper. No more clutter! You can arrange, resize and manipulate your content to best present your information. In addition, you can easily ink, highlight and markup any document you want. Most important, the ink stick to the document and to the page. That means you can flip from one page to another, and not lose the context of the ink. You don’t have to constantly erase the ink and make your desktop clean again for the next slide! You can move document or resize them and the ink will be in the correct spot. At the end of your meeting, you can also save your native file back with the ink layer. That means if you save a Word or PowerPoint file, the ink will be injected as a native ink object that can be edited and deleted. No more screenshots and paper notes to archive your feedback from the meeting. Simply markup the original files and save them back with all the ink and notes. Reactiv SUITE is the most powerful whiteboard for your Zoom meetings.
